Laurie has a passion for women who are hurting from trauma as well as other life experiences. She desires to provide hope and encouragement to women who are hurting. Laurie also enjoys improving the lives of others by providing community resources to those in need. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Welfare with an emphasis in Psychology and Urban Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley.
After graduation, Laurie worked for various non-profits providing assistance to women and families in crisis. Laurie has worked as a volunteer Chaplain for local and federal prisons. She also works alongside Pastor Dale every year in Grief Recovery classes with a local Church. Laurie married Tommy in 2001 and they have three teenagers. She spent four years homeschooling and has volunteered with R.A.H.A.B Ministries for the past twelve years.
She and her family have been attending Grace church Bath campus for over 20 years and have led a life group for their church for 5 years. Laurie enjoys prayer and seeking God’s Word in everyday situations and graduated from Grace College with her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
