Greetings from the Chaplain:

In the Christmas story, I find myself pondering again on
the timeless truths of when God became flesh and came to
us. The theological term is “Incarnation” which simply
means God became flesh and dwelt among us.

What a thought!

In the story (Luke 2:10) an angel comes to the shepherds
and says don’t be
afraid for I bring you good news of great JOY for ALL
people. According to
the scriptures the Lord coming to us is great news. Why? A
Savior is born.
He has come to save us FROM our sins not in our sins
(Matt. 1:21). Because
of Jesus we no longer have to be overwhelmed by sin, we
can be free from

This is one of those truths that we have heard for so long
that it doesn’t
move us anymore. Just stop right now and think about
that… we can be
delivered from sin, we can change, we don’t have to be
controlled any
longer. What a wonderful story!

It makes you want to stand up and shout!

Anyway, Merry Christmas, it’s worth celebrating. I wish
each of you and
your families a God blessed Holiday.
